High body temperature, or hyperthermia, can be dangerous if no action is undertaken, especially for young children.Lowered body temperature, or hypothermia, is also a dangerous situation, for which FEBRI provides guidelines for treatment.As first step FEBRI offers a symptom checker.
Mark your symptoms, which could be either high body temperature symptoms, cold, flu or can be related to other medical conditions.It is necessary to track symptoms, in order to apply adequate care and home treatment, when your doctor can not be immediately reached.
Also you need to input some personal data.
The age of an ill person is extremely important for the right course of action – and it can be input either in months (for babies and toddlers), or in years (for older children or adults).
Body mass is another important fact.Next step is to measure body temperature, and to input the value.
Measuring temperature can be done in multiple ways, and body temperature values can differ depending on temperature measuring method - so you have to choose which method you use, before inputting the value into app.Another important thing for home treatment is to differentiate available OTC medicines, which could be used in fever and elevated body temperature situation.
FEBRI provides information about those medicines, how those drugs differ, and which is their proper and intentional use.
